'I may end up with him again', she told me.

'What more can I ask for? He is a doctor, he is buying a condo unit for us..he is willing to spend on ME.'

'My dreams are like his dreams... he is working hard every single minute just to make sure that they come true.

'But you DON'T LOVE him' I reminded her quietly.

She tilted her head, gave a quick thought and responded:'What more can I ask for in a guy? In a guy that 'high standard' some more.'

I suppose everyone has a different outlook on LOVE.

Some people prefer the 'barter system' which goes ' you give some, I give some, that's fair,'
Some people choose being vacuum cleaner, trying to sip out every little advantages they can get from the men,
Some people are dreamers, believing that love conquers everything.
Some people stick to their own partners not because of affection, but the fear of experiencing changes/ new partners/not able to meet better ones.

To me, I still think LOVE is important in a long lasting relationship.

Yes, I am not silly enough to think that love can solve everything, but I think it's the BASIC / FOUNDATIOIN of a strong relationship.

Holding on to love between the two of us is tremendously helpful in enduring hardship of calamities in life.

I believe if the love exists in a couple, you won't see the man getting dump after he could not afford to give his all to his woman anymore. .


In her case, I think it's not fair for the other party to be 'loved' just because he can afford the things that she wants. If I was the guy, I would be totally devastated. After trying so hard to make her happy solely because of love, she sticks by my side just because I can fulfill her needs, not because of she loves me. :/ What if one day a better man appears in her life, is she going to say SAYONARA?!

Having said that, maybe I am just a dreamer. Maybe I need to meet more jerks in my life to understand the reasons most women go for getting their needs fulfilled rather than loving their partners. To me, I always believe that I should go and work for what I want ( eg. $$, just go and work for it instead of sitting at home waiting to be paid by husband). Nevertheless, having a rich husband is satisfying and delightful still :).


She gave me an anology about love which I find interesting:

Choosing a partner is just like being in the market.

Everyone has something to sell.

It's only when both parties are satisfied and happy of each other's products will they get together.

I sat up from bed.

Shit.This is not good.

The couple next-door is fighting. I could hear the crying of that woman 2 blocks across the street.

Sigh.

First day of work...sucks.

I hate being alone, especially being the only one THAT junior.

Everything seems so new, and I am freaking slow.

I watched the clock as it keeps tickling.

Every one second less signifies the lost of another second in my life.

I thought about my life, the past, present and future.

For some reasons, I have missed out something. Something NOT negligible in life.

But.. I can't figure what it is.

Tomorrow is THE-DAY, the day Cici Loo is back to the work field, new environment, new colleagues, new system...after 2 months of blissful break.

Honestly, I am kinda nervous. It's not like returning to the workforce doing the same old thing that I have been doing for the past 12 months. It's time for my brain to behave like a sponge, absorbing new information as quickly as it can afford to be ( just that mine starts to saturate already....)

HM kindly brought me out today to Esplanade. I know I know, I have been here for the last 12 months and I never been to this tourist spot at all. C'mon, you don't have the heart to act like a tourist when all you care is going home to have a good sleep after a day of hectic work. Get what I mean?

I am super excited!!!! *SHRIEKS*

I know..it's JUST KL, but having trapped in this little town with a very 'busy' Sunshine, I can't wait for my short trip! How I miss the time when I happily grabbed a few spanking cool tops and queued up with the other shopaholic crowd for payment. ( I know, Rebecca Bloomwood is my soulmate).

On a more serious note, I think I really need to study ( how many *** times have I said that?!) It's NOT cool to be a medical officer. I couldn't just do the 'no brainers' stuffs and left all the thinking to the MOs like all the housemen do in Sg anymore. Sigh, I hope I have a hypertrophied brain but now it seems more like 'atrophic' to me.
Ok, let me have a solemn vow:

I WILL NOT SHOP FOR A MONTH IF I DO NOT STUDY HARD FROM TODAY ONWARDS.

Hmm..Hope this works.

Maybe something more hard core:

It is very difficult to have genuine friends, even harder to keep them. Not that they left but they change.

When she was single,we were happier. She would treat me earnestly, as I..was her best friend. The time, the effort are spent to keep the friendship growing.

However, having a boyfriend totally turns her world upside down.
She does not bother to spend anytime with you, very stingy in giving (but keeps taking) and even our conversations are dull.

It's like, all her priorities change. Obviously, I am not at the top of the list.

I remembered texting her one day wishing her well, and she was like: Anything wrong?
Yeah, it's freaking wrong to just say HI?

One unpleasant incident after another, I finally called it quit. . Exactly just like another close person of hers does. We have had enough.

I stop giving. I stop trying to keep in touch. We have known each other for so long, yet she is losing interest in having quality friendships. Maybe her love is the most important thing for her right now, maybe it is too difficult to keep a boyfriend and a good friend at the same time.

Sometimes I wonder should I tell her the truth, should I let her know that her attitude is pushing people away. She shoud just stop taking but learn to give. Stop being stingy. Stop being rude , just stop being...difficult.

Knowing her for so long, I know that I will be astrocized.

I guess it's true. Went to MAC today aiming for something pleasant for MM 's coming birthday.

Once upon a time, I complained to my father that my sister was hopelessly addicted to make ups..and naturally, she was burning his cash relentlessly. I proudly declared that I would never, never ever spent too much on this. 'Furthermore, natural is beauty' as I added.

Father turned to me with a mysterious smile: Never said never.

Now, I am officially the queen of makeup in Stampin.

Getting a bit down tonight.

Must be the long afternoon nap that I was not supposed to be taking, thanks to Sunshine for letting that happened. ( He must have plotted this and spite my drink)

I think he did that on purpose so that he could have a piece of mind when studying, minus a freaking mad gf that keep sighing and 'cry mother cry father' for not knowing what to do ( and of course, refusing to study). :/

Sometimes I hope I am a superstar or something so that all I care is about my looks, my body and all those superficial shallow stuffs. But sometimes I hope I am a movie director, I can direct a Block buster movie the way I want, pick the actors I love, write the plot I wish. But wait, sometimes I just want to be a Tai Tai.

I remembered way back in medical school , I was having lunch with a group of aspiring doctors-wanna be. Nine out of ten of them were inspired to be great successful doctors since the age of less than ten. When it was my turn to reveal my dream of the century, I was quite hesistant. C'mon, I just could not tell them my dream was to become an air stewardness alright? HOW ASPIRING.
Anyway, I was honest afterall. There was an awkard silence across the table. I bet they were thinking why the hell did the Medical School allowed such a bimbo crawled through the gate.
*mmph* I wonder why.

Been blog hopping lately. It always amused me when I came across this remark:

I felt like I have no privacy at all.
I think I should stop blogging...
I am so sad.


Geez Your Highness, it's your option to publicize (and sometimes promote) your own freaking blog and now you are sulking about lack of privacy?!!

I suppose this is a battle between privacy and the lust to become the 'top blogger' or whatever.

Been and back from Sibu.

Dusty old little town.

Sunshine brought me to Cafe Cafe, which is apparently, the hottest cafe alive in this town.

The food was pretty good, but Sunshine attracted too many gays' attention, and that also happened during our night in The Queen's. What a gay magnect :/

It's funny how they stared at the 'prey' , conveniently ignoring the pretty girlfriend next to him ( I would like to believe), almost dripping with saliva. C'mon!! *Groans* The thing is I could not shoot daggers at them ( it works only between the women btw), and since they are another totally different species ....I just don't know how to.

Baby Scarlet can talk now ( yeah, like pronouncing objects and people instead of just making noises)... She yells Aci Aci everytime she sees me....VERY POLITE INDEED. ( Where is the yi yi or auntie? No respect...)


Back to shopping...

Hello Kitty limited eye shadows palatte is a total failure (althought I must give some credits to the packaging). Not pigmented at all. I almost rubbed a layer of skin off my eye lids to get the colours to show despite putting on my best primer....
Tsk tsk tsk...
RM 150 gone...just like that...



My next mission is to grab Giorgio Armani Silky Foundation which I can't find in Sg or Kch. Let's hope it is availabe in KL.

I am BACK...Just because I have 2 months of freaking holidays!!!!!!!!

My Prof told me I won't have 2 months break anymore in my entire short life unless I am fired.

Hmm...Good thought.T

I decided that blogger.com is still my favourite blogspot after all! Livejournal is O-K, but I guess I am stupid enough not knowing how to maximize my photos and get unreasonably pissed off with Livejournal.

Anyway now that I have too much time to kill, I shall start blogging about my pathetic ways of life, the little and big things of the surroudings and perhaps my love life when I am kind enough. Ha-Ha.


I am into my second week of holidays.

The first week was a blast~ *wink* ..minus all the cash I have conveniently burnt of course :/
It is not wise to stay in Sg if you are not working. You will end up shop shop shop till your bank account alarm siren goes off, like mine for instance.
The return tickets back to kch is dirt cheap, like S50 RETURN..honestly it's just like a return cab fare from my hospital to home. I am holding back the LUST to fly back for a merely 3 days trip before Syl's visit to Sg this coming Friday. It is...indeed...hard...to...suppress...or control... *BURRPPP*~

Talking about lust... I am into KATE SPADE handbags nowadays... Look:
